A gift of cash in support of CRMC is the easiest way to give. If you itemize for the IRS, your check made payable to Coffeyville Regional Medical Center Foundation is generally tax-deductible. We will send you an acknowledgment letter for your tax records. You can make a contribution by donating online.
If there is a loss of a family member, friend, or associate, or when there is a special individual or occasion to honor, a thoughtful gift to the Foundation is truly meaningful. It demonstrates the donor's depth of concern, and it benefits
others by continuing our mission. The gifts can be unrestricted for general use or designated for a particular patient care area or program.
The person (or persons) you designate will receive a card announcing your special gift in their honor. If your gift is in memory of a loved one, a letter will be sent to the family. The amount of your gift will not be mentioned and you will receive an acknowledgment letter for your personal records.
Celebrate Life! is a wonderful way to celebrate a special person or event in your life, while showing your community spirit. With your support, the Coffeyville Regional Medical Center Foundation will be able to continue to meet the needs of purchasing medical equipment and furnishings to enhance patient care services at CRMC. The bricks are placed in the Healing Garden located off the main corridor of the hospital. The Healing Garden includes 4 x 8-inch brick ($100) and 8 x 8-inch paver stone ($200) pathways surrounded by specially selected trees and flowers, as well as three areas for sitting. Each brick or stone can be inscribed to commemorate family, friends, a business, a birthday, anniversary, or to remember a loved one who has passed away.
The future as well as the present success of the Foundation may be insured by donors who establish an endowment. This is a fund for a specific purpose, as stated by the donor that is established in perpetuity allowing only the income to be used.
In most cases, a gift of tangible personal property results in a charitable deduction of the item's fair market value.
Gifts of appreciated property such as stocks, homes, land, or personal property can often eliminate capital gains tax and the donor receives a charitable deduction based on the full market value of the gift.
Cash, stock, and other securities, retirement accounts, real estate or property of any description may be bequeathed or devised to the Coffeyville Regional Medical Center Foundation by a clause in the donor's Will or by a Codicil added to the Will. The Charitable Gift Annuity is an irrevocable, binding contract between the donor and the Foundation. In transferring cash, stock, securities, or other property to the Foundation, the annuitant is guaranteed a fixed dollar income return each year for his lifetime or those of other designated income beneficiaries. The rate of return is stipulated in the annuity contract. The donor is entitled to a charitable gift deduction for income tax purposes in an amount determined by IRS formulas.

A Life Estate is a gift of personal residence or farm whereby the donor actually gives the property to the Foundation but retains the right to use the property for the lifetime of a designated person or persons.
A donor may sometimes find advantage in assisting the Foundation by assigning to it the beneficiary interest in a life insurance policy. Such a circumstance might typically arise when the purpose which led to the purchase of a policy no longer exists or is greatly diminished.
Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match any charitable contributions made by their employees. If your company is eligible, request a matching gift form from your employer, and send it completed and signed with your gift. The impact of your gift to the hospital may be doubled!
