Financial Services

Using a hospital can be an uncertain and confusing experience.  Even after receiving treatment and care, the billing, payment options and insurance questions may be puzzling.

The Business Office at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center is the department responsible for the proper billing during your visit.  The information we use in processing your bill is received at the time of admission and also gathered by working with the different areas throughout the hospital.

There may be an instance where your circumstances have changed since your admission process or questions may have arisen which you didn’t think of earlier.

You would want to call us if:

  • A change in your insurance company, policy number, etc. has occurred.
  • Information you shared during your admission process needs to be changed or added.
  • You have questions about insurance
  • You would like to arrange a payment plan.

You can contact a financial advisor directly to answer any questions you may have regarding your account.  If a representative is unavailable at the time of your call, we encourage you to leave a message on their voice mail system and they will return your call as soon as possible.

To contact a representative while you are still in the hospital: Simply dial the last four digits of any phone numbers listed below from your bedside phone.  Outside of the hospital, dial the entire number, which is a direct line to your representative.

COMMONLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q-Does the hospital do prior authorization on all outpatient services?

A-Although CRMC tries to do prior authorizations on as many services as possible, it is your responsibility to contact your insurance company to get prior authorization for services.

Q-If I’m admitted does the hospital call my insurance company?

A-CRMC’s case management Department works with many insurance companies to verify coverage and authorizations required by your insurance company.  It is recommended that you contact your company to be assured of full coverage for your services.

Q-Will I get an itemized statement in the mail?

A-We will mail you a statement, but it is not itemized.  To request an itemized statement, call 252-1528.
