In addition to their presence at the hospital, the Auxiliary hosts several fundraising events throughout the year to raise money for various improvements at CRMC. Some of the fundraisers include:
Auxiliary taking tickets at the Ice Cream Social
In April, 2010 the Auxiliary presented a check to the hospital Foundation in the amount of $150,000 to symbolize their pledge commitment. For that major commitment, the Linear Accelerator Room in the new Radiation Oncology Treatment Center was named in their honor. In 2012, the Auxiliary contributed $35,000 toward that pledge.
In addition, the Auxiliary provides educational scholarships for up to six local students. The students must plan to work in the medical field in positions such as: physician, nursing, EMT, technical assistant, etc.
