In addition to their presence at the hospital, the Auxiliary hosts several fundraising events throughout the year to raise money for various improvements at CRMC. Some of the fundraisers include:
Proceeds from these events are donated to various hospital projects, such as the Foundation campaign to raise money for equipment and furnishings that have gone into the new hospital addition and remodeling projects. In December, 2002 the Auxiliary pledged $100,000 to the CRMC Foundation over a period of ten years to be used for furnishings and equipment. The pledge was completed in 2008, six years ahead of schedule. From part of these funds, over ninety pieces of framed artwork were purchased and are displayed in hallways and patient rooms; new chairs were purchased for the cafeteria, conference rooms, and waiting rooms and patients' rooms; security equipment and nursery equipment has also been purchased.
